Clearwater Condo Water Damage Demolition

The vacant condo unit in Clearwater experienced a water leak inside several walls. Since the A/C was set at 80 degrees, mold spores benefited from this moisture and damaged the drywall also. The Before Photo shows the controlled demolition of a two-foot-high section of sheetrock. Notice the blue tarp our SERVPRO crew used to protect the underlying, undamaged carpet. We prepared the area for the reconstruction as shown in the After Photo. The leak was repaired, and antimicrobial products were sprayed on all exposed surfaces. We suggested keeping the ambient interior temperature at 72 degrees when away. This controls the relative humidity and also protects the contents and assemblies from exposure to excessive moisture. When completed, it will seem "Like it never even happened."
